• International Academy for Traditional Tibetan Medicine  [01.01.2007]
  Academy founded by Dr Nida Chenagtsang to develop Traditional Tibetan Medicine (TTM) in an academic and scientific way. A variety of courses are offered, to cater for different levels of interest. Courses range from 2-hour presentations through to weekend workshops, five- or seven-day seminars, through to long-term practitioner training courses of four years' duration, such as in Ku Nye (Traditional Tibetan Massage) or TTM.

  Akong Tulku Rinpoche, Tibetan Lama and physician of traditional Tibetan medicine, has developed a psychotherapy which brings together Eastern and Western understanding of the mind. Four-year professional training in Edinburgh, UK, Ireland, and Germany.

  The Institute in Conway, MA and Italy is dedicated to the study, practice and preservation of traditional Tibetan medicine. Founded by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu. Full-time, four year traditional Tibetan medicine certification program conducted by Dr. Phuntsog Wangmo, healing clinic and annual lecture series. Audio CDs with courses about Tibetan Medicine available.

  The German Doctors Association for Acupuncture (Deutsche Ärztegesellschaft für Akupunktur, DÄGfA) organizes special trainings for doctors in Tibetan Medicine. Conducted by Prof. Dr. P. Y. Arya Tendi Sherpa.

  This Munich-based society for the preservation of the Tibetan culture and medicine promotes the exchange between medical science and TTM.

  Men-Tsee-Khang in Dharamsala is a charitable, cultural and educational institution of H. H. the Dalai Lama. Men-Tsee-Khang promotes the Tibetan system of medicine, astronomy and astrology, provides accessible health care and produces Tibetan medicines in an environmentally sensitive manner.

  ROKPA is an international charity founded by Dr. Akong Tulku Rinpoche with branches in 18 countries (Austria, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, USA ...). ROKPA works in the areas education, health care, relief of hunger, preservation of culture, self-help and ecology. ROKPA also supports training of Tibetan pupils in traditional Tibetan medicine and provides assistance in producing traditional Tibetan medicines.
• The New Yuthok Institute for Tibetan Medicine   [01.01.2007]
  Institute of Prof. Dr. Pasang Yonten Arya Tendi Sherpa in Milan, Italy. The Institute organizes courses, seminars, workshops, retreats, and conferences related to the Tibetan medical science and culture and their significance in the West. Presently the following courses are held in the Institute: a four-year course in traditional Tibetan Medicine (Sowa-rigpa), a three-year course in Tibetan Psychology, a six-year course in Tibetan Astrology.

  The Yuthog Foundation was founded for the purpose of preservation and development of traditional Tibetan medicine. The foundation is engaged in the education and training of Tibetan doctors in rural areas of Ladakh and promotes the exchange of experiences to solve problems with respect to use and identification of medicinal plants.
