Again an important medicine in Tibet, Ayurveda and in the west. Tibet is the original home of our Rhubarb. Large quantities are being imported from Nepal into India for preparation of medicines. Used in Asia and the western world alike as a laxative due to its content of Anthraquinones. Again a plant on the long list of endangered ones in the Himalayas.
