Description:
upto 30 cm, flowers pink, in large groups
Altitude:
3800- 4100, hier: 3980 m m (12,467 foot)
Location:
Slopes and depressions, wet and dry
Medical usage:
Lung disorders ass. with fever, flue, antiinflamatory P.: medically seldomly used. Polygonum viviparum is used much more frequently.

Roots

Also present in the European alpine flora. Apparently an important medicine plant in Tibet. However no use in western herbal medicine has been reported to us so far.
